Post by LtNeil »

I had a strange thing happen when i tried to load in a map file into radient it said Map_New.
I have always been able to load this map in before, but i saved it to disc with the bak file and when i tried to open it with radient after it come up with Map_new,am i missing something simple here?

Did you save your .map as well as your .bak or did you save .bsp and .bak ?

Anyways why not make a copy of the .bak rename it to something like test.map

Give it a try, let us know how you get on.

If its happening with other maps too then maybe your radiant has somehow corrupted, im at work and dont have radiant installed here so maybe someone else can take a look at your file.
