I had a strange thing happen when i tried to load in a map file into radient it said Map_New.
I have always been able to load this map in before, but i saved it to disc with the bak file and when i tried to open it with radient after it come up with Map_new,am i missing something simple here?

Did you save your .map as well as your .bak or did you save .bsp and .bak ?
Anyways why not make a copy of the .bak rename it to something like test.map

I saved the map,bak,bsp and script,lol in case i wanted to work on it later (as i do now)i also tried loading in another map and the same thing happend!!?
I also tried nameing it as you said to test map but it still comes up with Map_New like i have'nt even created anything i could send you the map and bak if you had msn or something to see if it would load on your radient but i can not see why it should.

If its happening with other maps too then maybe your radiant has somehow corrupted, im at work and dont have radiant installed here so maybe someone else can take a look at your file.
