The Rjukan Project needs your help!

As many of you guys have pointed out lately, there are problems with The Rjukan project site ( Explanation and "solution" for this at the end of this post ).

I'm moving the site to my own recently purchased server, and I would like you guys help to do so: Moving all the Wiki tutorials is a very boring and repetetive work if you have to do 50 pages, if we do one each: it will be done today, and nobody needs to loose theis sanity over it ;)

The old site is up ( just with lots of error traces at the top ) here: http://dynamic6.gamespy.com/~rjukanproj ... -index.php

...the new site is here ( better name coming up in a while ): http://gronnevik.se/rjukan/

The thing I would like help with is:
1) that you login to the old site ( logging in will give you an error, just go to the link above again after logging in, and you should be logged in ).
2) Klick a tutorial that has not been transferred to transfer, and press the edit button at the bottom, and copy the code inside the textbox to... like... notepad or something.
3) Replace the tags that are wrong for the new Wiki ( syntax can be found on the new site ).
4) Klick on the appropriate tutorial link on the new page and edit it, pasting in the Wiki markup.
5) Preview it to see it looks good.
6) Edit any errors if it does not look good, and go to 5) else you are done :)

Doing the above is no biggie one time, but 50 is KILLING me

Just throw me a lmessage if you have any questions on Wiki syntax.

So what is wrong with the old site?
It has errors since a while back, the biggest is that the index file does not work, so anyone using the logical http://www.planetmedalofhonor.com/rjukanproject/ will be redirected to a non working page.
You can still get into the site with this link: http://dynamic6.gamespy.com/~rjukanproj ... -index.php ( but it is less "remeberable")
The problem is that I havent been able to get in to the account since deceber because of the chaos that started at the gamespy support center when the poor guys were hacked a while back.

Anyways, please help! I'm loosing my marbles here!

Right: Pictures.
To get pictures into the new site, write:

Code: Select all

Img:NAME_OF_IMAGE.EXTENSION
...that is: like this:

Code: Select all

Img:monkey.jpg
...and you will get a klickable link in the document: leading to a flie upload feature.

So you must save the file you want to upload to the site on your local computer firs to upload it to the site.

Currently supported file formats is JPG, GIF and PNG.

I havent activated snilies on the new site, not sure I will... but if you just write smilies without any extra formatting, and they will work IF I activate them.

There is none, but I recon the formatting will be clear when you compare the code to how the page looks...

EDIT: There is a Wiki Help link that explains the formatting on the edit page of the old site.

Could you guys take a look at the new design and give me some opinions about looks and functionality: http://gronnevik.se/rjukan/

well since (i think) the homepage it the tut's, thats what id call functionality. The new look is great (but in PM's you said no to keeping it)... i think youre keeping that thing at the bottom of the side menu for beginners and you neede to enlarge "Stuff left to do (suggestions welcome)"
And by the way, another convinieance would be to meake things easyto highlight and copy.. you try to highlight something in the middle of a page.. you cant do it w/o highlighting EVERYTHING above that one line.. grr it makes me mad.

Can you be more specific?

Is the text too small, or the contrast between text and background to small? Any suggestions to make it more readable?
