keypad names

what are the binding names of the keypad numbers? when you have numlock on etc... they say them as keypad 7, keypad 8 in controls, key not found when i try to bind a function to them. tried PAD7, tried KEYPAD7, neither worked... anyone know?

Well, here is one I have in unnamedsoldier.cfg.
bind KP_INS "+movedown"
It is the big "0" key on the pad. Num Lock is always on, of course.

ive got a related q'. Whenever i type in_joystick 1 i start spinning around counter-clockwise.... why wont the joystick work right?
(yeah! power to the lefties!)

calibrate it if analog, otherwise take the soda can off the left side

but, what's the pad 5? i see everything on hte pad but 5. it's the one with braille on it but nothing else but a 5.

Bind something to KP_5 in the game, and then go look at the cfg file yourself.

For the joystick thing I seem to remember something about not haveing the capslock key on . It has been a while since I used one but that may be it .

Ya I would not use a joystick . Also for some games make sure if you do use one that it has been calabrated I think you can do that from windows some where control panel maybe ?. Or some games have a screen to do that from .
