Hello all ,

The topic title is obvious , i d like to know how to remove entities from a map But without knowing the origins.
I tried decompiling the map in question but strangely , all the entites i want to remove dont figure on the map .

I also copied the .bsp file ( only the worldspawn part) into .txt and finaly it gave me all the entities on the map expet the ones i needed :s

After that i tried :

removeclass
removeent

with server cheats 1 but when i do that it suddenly switch to cheats 0 :s

If someone could help to remove thoses damn static hedgehog plz .

Thx

are script, not console commands. You've got to put them in script. Well, to be honest, it's not possible to remove a hedgehog from a map without affecting the whole game. :(

:?

it just removes the hedgehogs in the level.. oh maybe thats what you meant, i thought ou were talkin about messing up brushes and junk,

removeclass just removes all of that type in the level. removeent i think requires a $targetname and removes just that one, i've never opened the .bsp but i think it should list ents and their targetnames, if not, give them one and remove it.

By affecting the whole game I meant replacing the model with a dummy.tik. If you remove the model's class from the level (which is, I think, object), you'll remove 99% if not 100% of the static models from the map.
