Ya, it's possible to have tanks in multiplayer, there're two maps that were made with tanks. One is Tank Battle and another Blitzschnee. Ok, now with the Flak 88 cannon shooting at you!

Actually, with the help of Scorpio's bsp tool, I looked at the entities, and I studied the script of m5l2b carefully. Only took me about a day.
