Blink a light ?

I dont find a tutorial show how make a light (of course including the model and corona) blinking ?
This technique have problems with FPS or other thing, because is very very hard see a map with this technique !

This tutorial i know, he is very good, but use a trigger for on/off the light.
My question is really create a blink light

my memory is very poor but i do remember a tutorial on this somewhere....
i think he used fx_dummy and assinged light to it or something and turned it the light value up and down thru script, made it nice n random too..
cant remember for the life of me where the tut is but its there somewhere

The map
THE CUBE created by Wacko have a technique like this, but dont is a "tutorial" properly talk, is very hard understand the way of effect is created.

This has been aked so many times it isnt even funny! Heres what you need.. just use a REGULAR trigger_multiple without the projectile box ticked.

oh sorry,you want a blinking light.yes wacko came up with a working script for this,search for that thread because there were like 3 different scripts on how to do it.

In
test_pointer map created by TLTrude in top of searching light have a red "thing" with a corona and light blinking.
Not is possible separate only part of map and explain (simply if i get copy and past objects and get script, he work, but i dont understand the process !!!!)
I can learn, dont copy and paste

To i understand, the $lh_red_light its a simple static -> lamp -> light-bulb-caged-red model with a TARGETNAME have the value lh_reg_light or its a script model or another object ???
I understand your line of work, wait 2 seconds into a loop having a sequence of commands, show / hide.

In true dont translate correctly (no is possible understand).
But i read and understand the english text, i try using a script_model.

The corona, "classname fx_corona_red" is not a script model. It is scaled up to 6, but it is a normal model with the targetname "lh_red_light".
