When i rite click, i dont see the Info option, so i can add an info-player start. Whats going wrong?

Ive played more than u.
friend o mine had entdefs in main but was missing things from the right click menu (not info tho) however he managed to fix it but doesnt know how, he was just clicking random things in radiant.....maybe someone has an idea what he clicked....
anyway most of the time when things arent where they are sposed to be, entdefs is not in main.....
altho saying that
when i first started mapping with the sh sdk i didnt even know about entdefs and didnt have to do nething and it worked fine.
