To compile i use this parameters:

Code: Select all

"E:\maps\mohaa\Q3map.exe" -gamedir C:\ARQUIV~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA E:\maps\mohaa\maps\obj\cf_clan_obj3.map
"E:\maps\mohaa\MOHlight.exe" -gamedir C:\ARQUIV~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA E:\maps\mohaa\maps\obj\cf_clan_obj3.map
Some idea ????

My question is if exist parameters to compilation of map, or if exist a limitation of MEMORY (i have a Pentium III - 1.2GHZ with 256mb RAM) to compile map ???

Wacko,
I will try your suggestion, thanks a lot !

with those given specs, your computer should be able to handle the compile... i will definatly suggest getting a pentium 4 and maybe a bit more RAM... my comp is a P4 1.8Ghz with 1280 RAM () and it does very well.... except for my latest map that is scaring me cuz its my best work yet its messed up :(

I dont change the configuration of my PC (i prefer use the more low configuration possible) to make map "light" and dont have a FPS low.

Again, thanks for your comment...

nice map... yes i think you should either hit ctrl + G (to fit the brush to grid ) or simply remake the brush

I too have had this, and often the brush is adjacent to or intersecting with a caulk textured brush or intersectd with a brush that points to a caulk texture. Sometimes, even after you remake the brush the leak is still there. I switch the caulk to black and that seems to work for me.

Also, like Petey says if you snap to grid and make neat flush brush connections you will minimize this event.
