MOHPA Lag

I bought the game yesterday. The main reason i bought the game was to play online. But it is laggy as shit. Its not as good as i had hoped.

Im running it on a 3.0Ghz Pentium 4, 512MB Ram, 128mb ATI Radeon GFX Card.

How do i stop it lagging... or do i have to go back to MOHAA... which so far has impressed me more than MOHPA.

change your settings, make everything as low as possiable and see if that helps.
also make sure you dont have any other programs running, especilally anti-virus stuff.
also if your in multiplayer do you have boradband?

yes i have second fastest internet in my area... can download at 300kb/s

also do u mean texture detail.... or screen resolution... or both?

well i did wot u sed to do... it runs a little better (lowered texture details etc and kept resolution) but wen i press fire... it still doesnt fire until about 1-2 seconds after

btu yes, in the pre-start screen (the one with the muddy-guy's face) change all the settings to lowest.. resolution 640-480 texture detail lowest
whatever te otherthing is- lowest... audio lowest...

But it is laggy as shit

well its not THAt laggy... or is crap that laggy? hmmm...

oh no! ill be sitting on the toilet all day 'cause its lagging lol

lol... i installed the latest patch i think... i got it from official EA MOHPA site.

I think the patch was 67mb.

anyways.. thanx for the help

if i did get the wrong patch... can someone point me towards the correct one... and my ping wen im online is around 400, wen normally on MOHAA it is between 30-100 depending on server location.

I know this post is old. The rumours of bad performance have kept me from picking this game up. Have you scanned for spyware? Is your lag any better now?

I try to give my computer a complete reinstall every six months to keep things running smoothly. Even my Allied Assault was getting "Sticky" on me even though my FPS and my ping was good. A clean slate fixed all my worries.
