Projectile life and weapon starting ammo

Hi,
I need to set projectile's life to, let's say 10 seconds and give a player a weapon that has a starting ammo amount of 1, and I'm desperate on doing this without modifying any TIKIs, but by pure scripting... I tried spawning a trigger with spawnflags 20 and running life 10 and dmlife 10 commands on parm.other, but it just doesn't work...

Neither does work executing startammo 1 nor dmstartammo 1 on a weapon... Any ideas how to do this without touching the TIKIs? Help, please, I'm desperate!!!

About the life, there was also something like that with the grenades in MP, I could get it worked doing:
life x (use this one even for MP)
//dmlife x (disable this one)
hope that would help

if u exec a script form projectile and do
main:
wait 10
self explode
end
sud work.
self = the projectile . but its a projectile class remember. not a script mdl., - most script wont work with it

But what if the projectile life in the TIK is set to, let's say, 3? I just want to make grenades explode after a longer period... I know it's a projectile class, I've been trying to find something in the SDK but I can't seem to get these commands working... However, things like applying more gravity or making it drunk work just fine...

doesnt changing the life work?
u want cg_allclasses for tiki and client stuff.
and in game classes just look at the projectile part

I did look in the game classes! And the life command doesn't work! Try it yourself!

they are tiki cmds..just thought u might wanna look at tiki stuff.

g_allclasses would work fine right? isnt that created via cl_dumpallclasses?

no they are different things
game classes and client classes.

WTF I've got the classes file... I just don't get why the hell the life command doesn't work!!!
