Okay. Firstly.....hello
I got a file from a mate and figured out how to make Custom Textures! WOO!
NOTE:
X = folder name
Y = picture name
Okay, I use pakscape, just FYI.
1. Open a new pakscape document.
- Create two new directories named "scripts" and "textures"
- In the "textures" folder, create yet another directory named, ah stuff it, name the folder whatever you wish! Shorter the name the easier it is! I suggest a short name works better and may just save you time. You may create as many folders as you want, all pictures (and folders in textures) must have different names!
2. Now for the main part. Textures!
Use whatever images you want, but I recommend renaming them to really short titles e.g '1' '2'. you may wish to make it like 'a1' 'a2', whatever you wish, but its easier with shorter names.
- Import all picture files
3. Now for the bad part, scripting!
- okay, I'm going to save you a bit of time here, and just let you copy and paste the script part.
Copy that into notepad, wordpad, whatever you use.
- Save it as Y.shader and repeat however many times you wish.
4.
- Compile into .Pk3 file and save as "zzzshaders.pk3"
Put into main, and your done, almost.
In radiant, go to Textures up the top, search for XXXX and click, it should load all the pictures.
You can now use these in radiant, although I believe all people to play must have these, so just send them the pk3 and it's all good!
